I'm Jean-Paul Clemente, Management Coach and Consultant in Commercial and International Strategies. I have been self-employed since 2021, having held a number of positions over 35 years with HP and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, including 27 years in management and international business. I have acquired ‘hands-on’ expertise in optimising and improving the performance of multicultural teams, managing change to keep pace with the rapid evolution of digital markets and crisis management.
Trained as an IT engineer, I began my career as a developer and then a technical consultant in Paris. I then moved into sales with HP key accounts in France, before joining HP's international organisation in charge of development in Africa and the Middle East in 1996.
After training at INSEAD, I was in charge of integrating and training the sales teams following the HP / Compaq mega-merger, for all the so-called ‘emerging’ countries (Central Europe, Eastern Europe, Africa and the Middle East).
From then on, I held a number of managerial positions until May 2021, including
- Creation and development of Business Units in more than 18 countries,
- Implementation of go-to-market strategies in the public sector,
- Digital transformation and change management changement,
- Creation of distribution networks and Franchises,
- managing profitability, human resources and their diversity
as well as taking into account the Company Values in line with the different cultures of these countries.
I'm passionate about personal development. I trained in professional coaching and in 2022 set up NOETICA, a company specialising in management and executive coaching.
I am currently a coach for the Executive MBA programme at HEC, the national association 60000 Rebonds (which helps entrepreneurs who have gone bankrupt to bounce back) and the association Alptitude, which prepares young adults for higher business studies. My wish now is to put my skills and diverse experience at the service of the younger generations and companies that share these same values, in order to create a better World.
